Saptarishi believes that to build an equitable society that is free of discrimination of any form, it is necessary to work for women and with women.

It recognizes women as a key pillar of society and the need to strengthen them in today's society. Especially in the light of increasing incidences of violence against women - whether it be through oppression, depriving them of their rights, physical abuse, etc.

The organization works to empower women by educating them of their rights, developing collective leadership - financially as well as socially. It aims to do this, through a sustainable development model, by working on their education, livelihood, health, environment and sanitation.
